The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is holding three informational open houses over the next two weeks regarding future projects of interest to area motorists.
Two are taking place Tuesday, December 1. A gathering in Navasota is to collect input about improving and removing crossovers on Highway 6 from south of Navasota to the Waller County line. The open house is at the Navasota Center’s LaSalle Room from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m.
The second is in Conroe, regarding an expansion of Highway 105 from Conroe to Cleveland to four lanes with a median. The project also adds a curb and gutter and outside shoulders and open ditches for the eastern section. That open house will be held at Austin elementary school in Conroe from 5:30 untl 7:30.
The third open house is Thursday, December 10th, in North Zulch. This is about the proposal for making Highway 21 a four lane with a divided median between Madisonville and the Navasota River. The project also includes straightening sharp curves and adding shoulders. This open house is at North Zulch high school, also between 5:30 and 7:30.
