Original story:
Brazos County Sheriff Chris Kirk released photos Wednesday of a man and a pickup that may be associated with last Saturday’s burglary of “The Great Texas Gun Company” on Highway 21 east of Coulter Field.
Kirk says surveillance video from a neighboring business captured what appears to be a dark colored F-150 four door truck near the gun store prior to the burglary. The truck appears to have chrome running boards, a chrome bumper and a sun roof. The vehicle also appears to be missing the passenger-side mirror and has front right quarter panel damage.
The Sheriff says surveillance video from a nearby convenience store caught a white male near a dark colored Ford truck similar to to the one pictured above prior to the burglary. Investigators believe the person in the photo may have information that is relevant to the burglary.
Kirk says surveillance video from the victim’s business noted approximately five suspects, who spent about an hour around the building prior to cutting through the outside sheet-metal and kicking a hole through the sheetrock. Approximately 80 rifles and handguns were taken.
The Sheriff says anyone with information that could identify the male or the owner or location of the truck to call Brazos County Crime Stoppers (979) 775-TIPS (8477) or the Brazos County Sheriff’s Office (979) 361-4980.
