Testimony is underway in a Brazos County District Court murder trial.

Billy Menard, Jr. was shot at his Bryan apartment in October 2011.

20 year old Travis Carroll is the last of three Bryan men charged with the drug-related death.

One of the co-defendants, 24 year old Clayton Thompson, was sentenced to 45 years in prison after entering a plea agreement last November.

Thompson was returned to the Brazos County jail, where he is among the witnesses scheduled to testify at Carroll’s trial.

The third defendant, 22 year old Christopher Hernandez, was convicted by a jury last March and was sentenced to 37 years.
