Theft Arrest At A Homeless Camp Inside A College Station Park

The victim of a stolen bicycle trailer leads College Station police to a homeless camp in the woods at Bee Creek Park.

According to the CSPD arrest report, the victim and the officer also found what appeared to be multiple new bicycles.

Some were secured to trees with cables and locks.

A man living at the camp, 42 year old Kenneth Stone Jr., said he trades methamphetamine for the bicycles.

Stone also told the officer he found the trailer in the woods.

Stone was booked into the Brazos County jail for the 21st time in 23 years on charges of two thefts with two or more prior convictions.

He is held in lieu of bonds totaling $6,000 dollars.
