Texas Reds Festival Includes Bryan Duo Debuting on History Channel

Bill Allen and Paul Patranella.

Just a couple of guys who took off on their motorcycles who needed something to eat and a place to talk with people.

That’s part of the premise of a new History Channel show featuring two Bryan men. While the debut of “Hairy Bikers” is Monday night, you can see Bill Allen and Paul Patranella Saturday at the Texas Reds Festival.

Patranella says he’s still recharging his batteries after being on the road working 16 hour days for two months, and he’s looking forward to the festival.

When asked what they’ll be preparing Saturday, Patranella says it won’t be Nutria (NEW-tree-uh).  That’s a reference to one of the 12 episodes of the new show.

Six sets of chefs will be on the Palace Theater stage Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Patranella, a classically trained four-star chef and Allen, who owns a motorcycle company, are on stage at 5 p.m.

Paul Patranella visits with WTAW’s Bill Oliver.
