Texas A&M University interim president Mark Hussey was the guest speaker at this week’s faculty senate meeting.
Dr. Hussey noted this Saturday marks his 11th month on the job, four months longer than he expected.
Asked about the ongoing presidential search, Hussey says he has intentionally stayed away from that subject; to the point of walking away when hears conversations on that subject.
Dr. Hussey says the search for A&M’s next vice-president of student affairs has reached the point of holding candidate interviews as soon as next February.
More comments from his appearance, which covered a wide variety of topics, will be posted in future stories online and on WTAW 1620.
