It’s been years since the asphalt surface on Texas Avenue in the twin cities has been resurfaced.
But a six and a half mile stretch of Texas…from George Bush Drive in College Station to a half-mile north of Highway 21 in Bryan…is getting repaved.
The TxDOT Bryan district office reports the $2.5 million dollar project starts Monday night.
For the next few months, there will be various lane closures between seven p.m. and six a.m. on Sunday night through Friday morning.
Motorists should not notice any drop-offs between lanes during the repaving.
