Texas A&M Women’s Hoops Unveils Non-Conference Schedule

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M women’s basketball announced the non-conference slate for the 2024-25 campaign Monday which features eight home games inside Reed Arena.

Head coach Joni Taylor is entering her third year at the helm of the program. She is fresh off a gold medal as an assistant coach of the United States Women’s National Team at the 2024 Paris Olympics and helped guide the Maroon & White to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since the 2020-21 campaign last year.

The non-conference schedule features three Power 4 conference opponents and four teams that were selected to the 2024 NCAA Tournament field alongside the Aggies.

For the fourth-straight year, the Aggies open the season against A&M-Corpus Christi (Nov. 4) at home. The Maroon & White are 2-0 in season openers under Taylor and have won 11 games in-a-row to begin a new year.

Texas A&M stays in Aggieland for its next two matchups against UTSA (Nov. 7) and Western Michigan (Nov. 10) before heading to Morgantown to take on Big 12 foe West Virginia (Nov. 15). The Maroon & White’s last home outing before the Thanksgiving break will be against Northwestern State (Nov. 17).

The Aggies are scheduled to take part in the prestigious Battle 4 Atlantis tournament (Nov. 23-25) in Paradise Island, Bahamas. Opponents will be announced at a later date. For more information on the tournament, click here.
