Texas A&M Women’s Golf Set for Mason Rudolph Championship

FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The No. 9 Texas A&M women’s golf team continues its 2024-25 campaign at the Mason Rudolph Championship Sept. 20-22 and are led by fourth-year head coach Gerrod Chadwell and 2024 NCAA Individual Champion Adela Cernousek.

The Lineup

Cernousek headlines the lineup after being featured on the ANNIKA Award Watch List. The All-American was also the first Aggie to break the 70.00 stroke average mark for a season after shooting 69.94 for the year during her national championship season. The senior is ranked No. 8 on the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) and recently tied for sixth at the Carmel Cup to start the year.

Cayetana Fernández García-Poggio is the No.29 ranked player on the WAGR and earned a Preseason Golf Channel All-America selection and helps lead the Aggie lineup into the weekend. Vanessa Borovilos made her collegiate debut at the Carmel Cup and was tabbed as a Preseason Golf Channel Honorable Mention All-American. Lauren Nguyen And Kynadie Adams round out the five-player lineup going to the Mason Rudolph Championship.

The Format

Texas A&M begins play with 18 holes on Friday at 8:30 a.m. Live stats for the tournament can be followed at Golfstat.com.
