Texas A&M Women’s Basketball Hosts Biscuits and Baskets

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M women’s basketball team is set to host its second annual Biscuits and Baskets event Saturday, Oct. 19 inside Reed Arena where the public can get its first look at the 2024-25 squad.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and is free to all attendees. Guests may enter through the Reed Arena main entrance facing Olsen Boulevard and go up to the third-floor ballroom. Breakfast biscuits from Whataburger will be available while supplies last, and the team is scheduled to be available for autographs at 10 a.m. before open practice begins at 11:30 a.m.

Fans can support the program by joining the Aggie Fast Break Club and purchasing season tickets for the upcoming year. Additionally, Beyond Basketball memberships are available with the first meeting on Oct. 9.

The Aggies enter year three under the direction of head coach Joni Taylor. The Maroon & White bring back two-time All-SEC selection Aicha Coulibaly who was just one of four players in the country last year to average at least 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals while shooting over 50% from the field. Texas A&M also brings back defensive anchor Lauren Ware who was top 10 in rebounds and blocks per game in the SEC last year.
