Texas A&M system chancellor John Sharp announces a ban on vaping and e-cigarettes at the system’s 11 universities and eight agencies.
Sharp announced the ban, issued Tuesday, is to be implemented as soon as possible.
The chancellor also said “it would be appropriate and responsible to stop selling any e-cigarette products or vaping paraphernalia, if there are any points of sale at any place within our vast System.”
Sharp credited the president of the flagship campus, Michael Young, for the inspiration of what the chancellor described as “this important ban”.
