Texas A&M police arrested three men who interrupted Thursday’s regents meeting on charges of hindering proceedings by disorderly conduct.
The live webstream of the meeting went to black with no audio for about one minute while the men were removed from the A&M Memorial Student Center’s Bethancourt Ballroom.
When the webstream resumed, Regents chairman Charles Schwartz of Houston was saying “I call upon the police of College Station to seek remedies under the law against those who disrupt our public meeting.”
In addition to the misdemeanor charges, the men…who are not students or staff…were also issued criminal trespass warnings to stay off A&M property.
Three men from Austin…20 year old Christopher Todd Hall Jr., 32 year old Shane Michael Harris, and 34 year old Francisco Javier Segura…are out of jail after posting $5,000 dollar bonds.
