OTTAWA, Ontario – Texas A&M standout Jazmine Wilkinson signed a professional contract with Ottawa Rapid FC, the club announced Friday.
“I am so happy to see Jazz signed her first professional contract,” Aggie head coach G Guerrieri said. “She came to Texas A&M as a transfer portal kid from Arizona State, and able to experience a rebirth as a dangerous striker for the Aggies.
“We are in the ‘dream fulfillment’ business as Aggie soccer coaches, so it’s gratifying to see her dream come true and sign with Ottawa. And I know she is excited to begin her professional career playing in her home country in an exciting new league.”
Wilkinson played two seasons for Texas A&M after three seasons at Arizona State. She finished career with 94 Division I caps, including 62 starts. She logged 46 points on 18 goals, including five game-winning goals, and 10 assists.
The Nanaimo, British Columbia, native played 40 matches with Texas A&M, including 24 starts. She logged 13 goals and five assists in two seasons as an Aggie.
Wilkinson earned her bachelor’s degree in agricultural communications and journalism from Texas A&M in December. She landed numerous academic honors, including College Sports Communicators Academic All District (2023, ’24), SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll (2022, ’23, ’24) and Pac-12 Fall Academic Honor Roll (2021, ’22).
