Texas A&M Soccer’s Guerrieri Named United Soccer Coaches Director of Women’s College Services

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Texas A&M head coach G Guerrieri was tabbed to the advocacy position of Director of Women’s College Services at United Soccer Coaches, the organization recently announced.

Guerrieri will act as a key representative working to advocate for the needs and interest of the United Soccer Coaches members at all the women’s collegiate levels.

“I am happy to do whatever I can to benefit and enhance women’s college soccer across all divisions,” Guerrieri said. “I’m honored to represent our great coaches and the young women who play the beautiful game while representing colleges and universities across the nation.”

The role includes facilitating communication, collaborating on legislation, and managing vital relationships with the many stakeholders interacting with women’s college soccer club including youth clubs, college programs, pro clubs, US Soccer, and NCAA/NAIA/NJCAA organizations.

“We are grateful to have the participation of such an experienced coach in the women’s college landscape,” United Soccer Coaches President Heather Dyche said. “Bringing his experience coaching teams in NJCAA, NAIA and NCAA conferences, Coach Guerrieri will act as a key representative working to advocate for the needs and interests of the United Soccer Coaches members at all the women’s collegiate arenas.”

Entering 2025, Guerrieri ranks second among active NCAA Division I women’s soccer head coaches with 518 victories. His victory total ranks fourth all-time and his winning percentage sits at eighth on the D-I level. He had guided Texas A&M to 18 conference titles – 10 regular season crowns and eight conference tournament trophies.

Beginning his 33rd season as the only head coach in Texas A&M soccer history, Guerrieri has led the Maroon & White to 16 Sweet Sixteens, seven Elite Eights and the 2014 NCAA Women’s College Cup. Coach G’s Aggies have consistently been ranked in the national top 25 over the past 30 seasons while attracting some of the top soccer players in the world to College Station.

Guerrieri is a five-time conference coach of the year and five-time United Soccer Coaches Central Region Coach of the Year.

Not only have Guerrieri’s teams fared well on the field, but his student-athletes have excelled in the classroom. In November, the Aggies earned the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award (composite team GPA of at least 3.0 for all team members who appear on the official NCAA roster forms) for the 13th consecutive season.
