Texas A&M Men’s Tennis Represented at U.S. Open

NEW YORK –The Texas A&M men’s tennis team will be represented by a trio of its former players at the 2024 U.S. Open beginning on Monday at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center.

Representing the Aggies in NYC are Arthur Rinderknech, Austin Krajicek and Jackson Withrow. Rinderknech competes in singles and doubles, while Krajicek and Withrow are seeded in doubles.

Rinderknech opens with a first-round singles matchup against Christopher Eubanks of the United States at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, while Krajicek (with partner Jean-Julien Rojer) and Withrow (with Nathaniel Lammons) get started in the double first round on Wednesday or Thursday.

Krajicek and Rojer are seeded No. 15 and face Constantin Franzen and Hendrik Jebens, while the No. 13-seeded Withrow and Lammons, fresh off their second straight doubles crown at the Winston-Salem Open, take on Mitchell Krueger and Reese Stalder. Rinderknech, with Adrian Mannarino, opens against Thaigo Monteiro and Mariano Navone.

Additionally, signee Theo Papamalamis is the No. 9 seed in next week’s U.S. Open Juniors.
