Texas A&M Quotes

Head Coach Brian Kortan

On the final round effort…

“The guys got out to a good start this morning. We had some momentum early and then hit a few uncharacteristic shots that kind of stalled us out. But we made some birdies the second half of the round. We hung in there and ended up beating a lot of really good teams. Overall a nice week, but we know we have to keep progressing as we get near championship season.”

On the rounds by Daniel Rodrigues and Vishnu Sadagopan…

“I knew Dani would probably play a pretty good round. He was disappointed with how he scored yesterday. It was indicative of the good golf he played. I was happy to see him bounce back with a good score. Vish has been trending for a while to have a good round for us. He had a good round finishing up for us last year and did it again today. I like the direction we’re going. It’s not the easiest ride in the world, but I like where we’re headed.”

On wrapping up the regular season in Aggieland…

“The guys are really excited to play Traditions (Club) and defend their home turf. It’s always fun to play in front of our friends, family and fans. They look forward to it. We’ll rest up and then get ready for the Aggie (Invitational).
