Texas A&M Men’s Basketball Adds Prep Standouts

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – The Texas A&M men’s basketball team announced the addition of a pair of prep standouts, Jeremiah Green and Jasir Rencher, who will join the Aggies for the 2025-26 season.

Both Green and Rencher are national top 100 and consensus 4-star prospects. Green, a point guard from Denton, Texas, is ranked No. 64 on ESPN’s national top 100 list, while Rencher, a wing from Oakland, California, is ranked No. 74 nationally by Rivals.com.

Rated No. 64 on ESPN’s national top 100 list … Consensus 4-star prospect … Originally from Denton, Texas, Green competes for Compass Prep in Chandler, Arizona as a senior … As a junior, he led Denton Guyer High School to a 25-10 record while averaging 15.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game … As a freshman and sophomore, Green competed at Sunrise Christian Academy in Bel Aire, Kansas. While at Sunrise Christian, Green averaged 13.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals per game as an underclassman on its varsity squad … Green picked the Aggies over LSU, Oklahoma, TCU and Mississippi State.
