Texas A&M faculty members have started a six week trial period of three finalists for a new electronic campus software system.
The chairwoman of A&M’s teaching and transformational learning technologies committee, Dr. Catharina Laporte, presented an update at this month’s faculty senate meeting.
Faculty members will have two weeks to test each of the three finalists.
After that, Laporte says there will be campus wide forums, followed by a university wide survey.
That will all go into recommendations that will lead to a final decision.
Laporte says she hopes A&M’s new e-campus system is in place well before the official starting date of August 2021.
