Texas A&M issued a Code Maroon alert Friday morning.
Quoting a post made at 11:41 a.m. from A&M’s website emergency.tamu.edu:
“A non-credible bomb threat has been received on the Texas A&M University – College Station campus.
University police are clearing locations where this email was initially received out of an abundance of caution.
Campus evacuation is NOT necessary at this time.
If you receive suspicious emails of a threatening nature, please contact University Police at 979-845-2345.

“All evacuated buildings have been cleared and reoccupied.
As always, remember if you See Something, Say Something. Report suspicious activity to the University Police Department at 979-845-2345.”
