Texas A&M Athletics to Graduate 47 at Fall Commencement

News release from Texas A&M Athletics:

BRYAN-COLLEGE STATION – Texas A&M Athletics is set to be represented by 47 student-athletes that will be honored at fall commencement ceremonies December 12-13 at Reed Arena.
“I am very proud of this group of student-athletes for earning their degrees and walking the stage this week,” Director of Athletics Trev Alberts said. “Becoming a Former Student of Texas A&M University is an incredible achievement that requires dedication and tireless effort in the classroom. Our staff does a great job of preparing our student-athletes for this moment and we cannot wait to see what these graduates do in the next steps of their lives.”
The 47 graduates are highlighted by student-athletes from 13 different sports. Nine Aggies will be receiving their master’s degrees, while former women’s tennis student-athlete Christina Amo (2008-10) is earning her PhD in health education.
“The Texas A&M Athletics Department and Center for Student-Athlete Services congratulate all fall 2024 graduates,” Executive Associate Athletics Director of Academics and Student-Athlete Engagement Dr. Dan Childs said. “Our department is extremely proud of the academic and athletic accomplishments of our student-athletes. It is our commitment to provide our student-athletes with the best academic support and prepare them for life beyond sports. As an athletics department, we are fortunate that our student-athletes understand the bigger picture and work hard to excel in the classroom. We salute the graduates of the fall of 2024 and wish them the best of luck in the future.”
Commencement ceremonies will begin at 9 a.m. on Thursday inside Reed Arena. For more information on schedule and graduation festivities, please click here.
