TCL Player of the Year is an Aggie

COLLEGE STATION, Texas – The Texas A&M Aggies had four players honored by the Texas Collegiate League, headlined by catcher Mitchell Nau who was named the TCL Player of the Year.
Nau was joined on the All-Texas Collegiate League squad by shortstop Logan Taylor, outfielder Krey Bratsen and relief pitcher Gandy Stubblefield.
Nau, playing for the Acadiana Cane Cutters, led the league with a .352 batting average and ranked second with 39 RBI and 63 hits. He set a league record with 18 doubles and ranked third in the TCL with six home runs. He was one of two players to capture multiple Warstic TCL Player of the Week awards in 2013.
Taylor, also starring for the Cane Cutters, ranked third in the TCL with a .335 batting average. He was also in the top 10 in the league in runs (38), hits (58) and stolen bases (17).
Bratsen posted a .339 batting average, second-best in the TCL, and notched 25 runs and 23 stolen bases in 34 games with the Texas Marshals.
Stubblefield went 2-1 out of the bullpen with eight saves, a 3.78 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 33.1 innings with the Woodlands Strykers.
