Szeryk posted five straight birdies on the way to become the first Texas A&M golfer to shoot 63 in a round. Szeryk, who had previously tied the school record with a 7-under round in 2014, had eight birdies and no bogeys on the par 71 / 5,901 yard course.

Szeryk, who entered the day at even par, shot up the leaderboard from 16th to third, where she finished with a 205 (-8). Her 8-under total ties for the third-best tournament total in Texas A&M history.

Bianca Fabrizio shot a 1-under 70 on the final day of the Schooner Fall Classic, finishing the tournament in a tie for fourth place, one stroke behind Szeryk at 206 (-7). Fabrizio, who shot a second-round 66, went under par each round of the tournament. Fabrizio’s 7-under ties for the fifth-best tournament total in Texas A&M history, and is the second best of her career, just trailing the 9-under she shot to win the 2015 SEC Championship.

Thanya Pattamakijsakul shot an even-par 71 on Sunday, bringing her tournament total to 228 (+15), finishing in 51st. Andrea Jonama shot a 77 (+6) to finish with a 232 (+19) in 57th. Courtney Dow, after withdrawing from the first two rounds on Saturday, shot a 7-over 78 in her first collegiate round.

Using three par-or-better rounds, the Aggies shot up the leaderboard with a 3-under 281 on Sunday, the second-best score of the day. The Aggies finished the tournament with an 871 (+19), tying for sixth place after starting the day 10 strokes back in 10th place.

Florida State won the tournament with an 829 (-23), and the Seminoles’ Morgane Metraux won medalist honors with a 201 (-12).

The Aggies return to action from October 9-10 at the Jim West Challenge in The Woodlands, Texas.
