BEDMINISTER, N.J.- Texas A&M senior Maddie Szeryk finished a strong showing at the 2017 US Women’s Open with a 5-over 77 on Friday, finishing in a tie for 75th. She was seventh among amateurs at the event.
Szeryk made two birdies on the par 72 / 6,687 yard Old Course at Trump National, but missed the cut by three strokes. She finished the tournament with a 149 (+5) after two rounds.
This is Szeryk’s seventh LPGA-sanctioned event, but her first major championship.
