The investigation continues into who mailed a large envelope containing powder and torn pieces of paper that wound up at the corporate headquarters of a south College Station business.
Police say the envelope that arrived Wednesday at Cognizant Technology Solutions was forwarded from a branch office that recently closed.
An estimated 500 employees were evacuated from Cognizant’s building in the Pebble Creek subdivision.
Fire department spokesman Bart Humphreys says two mailroom employees were exposed to what turned out to be a non-toxic substance called Trypsin.
The building was reopened about two hours later.
