Storms Move Across Texas

UNDATED (AP) _ A storm system marched across portions of Texas Wednesday night, bringing brief periods of heavy rain and some reports of golf ball-sized hail and funnel clouds.

There were no immediate reports of major property damage.

National Weather Service meteorologist Jim Ellis says funnel clouds were spotted yesterday in Burnet and Llano counties in the Texas Hill Country, but none touched down.

Some golf ball-sized hail was reported in Mason and Marble Falls.

The storms rumbled through the Dallas-Fort Worth area mid-afternoon Wednesday as an upper level system tracked through the region.

Bad weather also forced some flights to be delayed at airports in Dallas, Austin and Houston.
