Bryan police receive a tip from someone reporting they were going to meet with someone who was going to sell a stolen trailer from Robertson County.

The BPD arrest report says officers found the trailer being pulled by a pickup in the parking lot of the H-E-B store at Texas and Highway 21.

The driver of the truck, 24 year old Carlos Tellez-Granados of Hearne, was arrested for driving with an invalid license with prior convictions and unlawful carrying of a gun.

Granados is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $8,000 dollars.

There was no reference to an arrest related to the stolen trailer. And the arrest report does not say what happened to the trailer or the truck.

Online jail records show Granados was arrested October 25th by College Station police for driving with an invalid license with prior convictions and June 9th for disorderly conduct/noxious odor. Online Brazos County court records show no cases being filed from either of those arrests.

Online Brazos County court records show Granados pleaded no contest and was found guilty of operating a vehicle with expired registration in October 2023 and pleaded no contest and was found guilty of speeding in August 2024.
