Stabbing At The Edge Of Downtown Bryan Injures One And Leads To One Arrest

One man was stabbed and another was arrested Thursday morning during what Bryan police described was a family violence situation.

Officers responded to the area of Sims and Bryant, at the southwest corner of the downtown area, around 8:30 a.m.

The victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Following a brief search, 25 year old Ray Wallace of Bryan was found and taken to jail on a charge of aggravated assault of a family member with a weapon.

As of early Thursday afternoon, bond had not been set according to online jail records.

According to online court records, Wallace failed to appear on Monday following an arrest July 22 on a misdemeanor charge of possessing marijuana.
