Speeding In School Zone Leads To Meth Arrest

A traffic stop in front of Allen Academy after school on Tuesday results in the driver and three passengers going to jail on drug charges.

The arrest report from the DPS trooper states clocking the vehicle going 45 in the 35 school zone.

The driver was arrested for three warrants from College Station and one from Bryan.

During an inventory of the vehicle before it was towed, the trooper found methamphetamine valued at $2,600 dollars along with 75 small bags and a scale that he believed would be used for packaging and selling drugs.

Two couples were arrested…45 year old Lamar Mikulec and 37 year old Sheila Schill of College Station and 28 year old Christopher Carney and 27 year old Maria Avila of Bryan.
