Snoopy 1 Flies Over Aggieland

Another attraction for Saturday’s final A&M home football game arrived in Aggieland Monday.

The Met Life blimp Snoopy 1 and its crew of 14 will be here all week according to chief pilot Charlie Smith.

The blimp will be back in the air on Tuesday they stay on the ground until Saturday’s game against Missouri.

Smith says the blimp will be parked at Coulter Airfield in Bryan.

Snoopy 1 flies at an altitude of 1,000 feet and at a speed of 40 mph.
