Shot Fired Into Home of Kilgore College Trustee

KILGORE, Texas (AP) _ Police in East Texas are investigating after a bullet was fired through the front door of a community college trustee.

Kilgore Police Assistant Chief Roman Roberson says no one was injured Monday after gunshots were reported outside of the home of Kilgore College Trustee Brian Nutt. He says one bullet passed through the door and into an interior wall.

It’s unclear how many people were at home during the shooting. Police haven’t released a suspected motive or said what type of weapon was used.
