Residents of a north Bryan neighborhood complaining about drug activity resulted in an eight month police investigation that resulted in seven arrests.
Bryan police executed a search warrant Thursday morning at a home located at 1007 Hall Street, located between Neal Elementary School and Highway 21.
Officers seized $1,433 in cash, a 2001 Cadillac DeVille, 29.3 grams of crack cocaine with an estimated street value of $3,000, 12.9 grams of marijuana valued at $200, four firearms…one reported stolen from College Station, and numerous pieces of drug paraphernalia.
Those involved in executing the daylong search warrant were members of the Bryan Police Department’s Drug Enforcement Team, BPD’s Tactical Response Team, BPD’s Neighborhood Enforcement Team, BPD’s Directed Deployment Team, BPD’s Criminal Investigation Unit, and the Department of Public Safety.
The following were arrested from the residence:
25 year old Jacord Hickman of College Station for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance in a drug free zone and felon in possession of a firearm.
34 year old John Jerome Knox Jr. of Bryan for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and five outstanding warrants.
24 year old Darrell Mitchell Jr. of Bryan for manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and felon in possession of a firearm.
21 year old Dejric Mitchell of Bryan for misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
53 year old Francis Woodard of Bryan for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
48 year old Sylvia Harris of Bryan was issued a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia after she was taken the hospital for treatment of a medical condition.
52 year old Robert Brooks of Bryan was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
