U.S. Senator John Cornyn made several stops Friday in the twin cities.
He was the featured speaker at the B/CS Chamber of Commerce membership luncheon.

Before that, Cornyn was on the Texas A&M campus as part of a roundtable discussion with Secretary of the Army Eric Fanning and student veterans to discuss the students’ transition from the military to pursuing a degree.
After the chamber event, Cornyn returned to the A&M campus to participate in the grand opening of the new Veterinary & Biomedical Education Complex and celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the College of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences.
Friday evening, Cornyn was among the speakers at the Brazos Valley Veterans Memorial Veterans Day program.
