Second Location To Drop Off No Longer Needed Prescription Drugs

There is a second location in the twin cities to drop off no longer needed prescription medicines.

Bill Roberts with the Brazos Valley Council on Alcohol and Substance Abuse thanked the College Station fire department for placing the collection box inside the city’s municipal court building on Krenek Tap Road.

Fire chief Jonathan McMahan says this will also keep medicines out of the landfill.

There is also a drop off site on the west side at the Brazos County sheriff’s office.

And the disposal of prescription drugs is part of the next household hazardous waste collection event on April 28th.
