Saturday T-Storms Produce CS Fires

The occupants of a College Station home were awakened by firefighters Saturday morning.

Two people living at 2307 Dartmouth learned the roof and attic space were on fire following a lightning strike. A crew returning from an earlier call noticed smoke in the neighborhood.

There was enough damage the residents were not allowed to return. That was one of two residential fires Saturday morning caused by lightning. Minor damage was reported in a wall at 1304 Remington Court. No one was evacuated.
