18 Bryan police officers respond to a shooting Saturday night (December 20) in the parking lot at an apartment complex between Blinn College and the post office.

BPD arrest reports say the victim, who was in her SUV when she was shot, drove herself to an emergency room to be treated for a gunshot wound to her foot. Her SUV was struck by six bullets.

A getaway vehicle identified by witnesses was traced to an apartment in the complex on Nash Street.

That led to the arrest of one of the occupants, 33 year old Kevin Scott II, for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The arrest report and BPD social media had no information about what led to what witnesses heard were five to six gunshots.

Scott, who was released from jail after posting a $50,000 dollar bond, is also awaiting trial on a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct involving a firearm that took place in March 2025.
