A number of videos posted on the Internet have caught the attention of local fire investigators.
Click to hear WTAW’s Chris Clift talk with Bryan Fire Investigator/Inspector William Bouse:
Bouse says there are numerous videos posted on the web showing people making and detonating improvised explosive devices.
While trying to make or use such a device is illegal, it is also dangerous.
Bouse says information gained from an online video of this nature could be enough for his department to prosecute those involved.
He also cautions parents to keep a close eye on what their children look up on the Internet, as well as a sudden interest in household chemicals.
Anyone who would like more information is encouraged to call 209-5960 and ask for an investigator.
