Round Rock Police Find Body, Deadly Gas In Car

ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) _ Central Texas Police are investigating the cause of death of an unidentified man whose body was found inside a car that had a note taped to it warning people of a gas inside the vehicle that would “kill you.”

An employee at a chiropractic clinic in Round Rock alerted police to the vehicle in a parking lot on Wednesday after seeing the note on the car.

KVUE-TV in Austin reports that police found hydrogen sulfide, a deadly gas, inside the vehicle. Hazmat officials were called to the scene and discovered the body inside. Businesses near the car were temporarily evacuated while police investigated.

Round Rock police spokeswoman Dee Carver says the case is still being investigated and it was unclear if this was a suicide.
