The Bryan woman who once operated the Rose Home for the elderly and disabled remains in jail following her ninth arrest in the last two years.

The Brazos County District Court judge handling all the cases involving Rose Rodriguez ordered all bonds revoked during a hearing on Friday.

That keeps Rodriguez in jail for an indefinite period. Within the next 60 days, trial dates will be set on a variety of charges.

The latest involves a second case alleging aggravated perjury. Rodriguez is accused of saying she wasn’t able to make a court appearance on July 30th due to car trouble. Prosecutors say they checked with the mechanic and they had no record of fixing Rodriguez’s car.

The first case accuses Rodriguez and her husband of lying during a civil lawsuit where they were found responsible for the death of a patient. A $750,000 dollar award to survivors remains on appeal.

Rodriguez and her husband are also charged with selling homes in Bryan they did not own.
