Rockets reportedly set to release Cousins

The Houston Rockets are reportedly on the verge of releasing center DeMarcus Cousins, just 25 games into his first season with the team.

Cousins, who missed all of last year with an injury, is averaging a career-low 9.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game this season.

The Rockets have lost 8 in a row following Monday night’s 120-100 drubbing to the Chicago Bulls.
