Another new city of College Station building approved by voters in the November 2022 bond election is finished.
A ribbon cutting at the city’s park department’s new operations complex is scheduled Wednesday (October 1) at 11:30 a.m.
The city’s communications director, Colin Killian, says the project cost, budgeted at $7.4 million dollars, came in at $4.4 million.
Construction was completed ahead of time of the 16,500 square foot facility, which replaces a building from 1982 that had less than 6,000 square feet.
The new parks building has space for 15 employees and will be the central location for equipment that includes a mobile stage.
