Sophomore Kellen Mond will reportedly be the starting quarterback for Texas A&M’s season-opener against Northwestern State, according to 247Sports.com’s Brian Perroni.
Mond (San Antonio, TX), played in ten games for the Aggies in 2017, throwing for 1,375 yards and eight touchdowns to go along with six interceptions. He also ran for 340 yards and three scores.

Starkel returned to play in seven games in 2017, throwing for 1,793 yards and 14 touchdowns to go along with six interceptions.
