Repairs Underway at Rock Prairie Elementary School

A 25-year-old construction quirk is currently being fixed.

Windows mounted flush with the outer brick walls of Rock Prarie elementary are being taken out and the brick removed.

John Hall, Facilities Director for College Station ISD, says it was impossible to only repair the windows.

Renovations are scheduled to be complete before school starts in the fall.

Hall says about 95 percent of the exterior will be replaced with brick similar to the original.
