Record Crowd Expected for A&M Spring Football Game

A&M officials are expecting the largest crowd ever at this Saturday’s Maroon and White football game.

Associate Athletics Director Mike Caruso says they’re planning on as many as 40,000, which is twice the normal attendance.

Because of football competing with baseball and softball games and activities related to Parent’s Weekend, Caruso says to plan on arriving early and paying for parking unless you have a university tag.

The game experience will include the Aggie band and Corps of Cadets.

University staff will also be out monitoring tailgaters that are expected to be out. Caruso says advance tickets are available online. Students get in free.

WTAW’s Bill Oliver visits with Mike Caruso.
