Record-breaking Attendance at Bush Library’s Independence Day Fest

The fifteenth year of holding the I Love America celebration at George Bush Library boasted record numbers last week.

Marketing and Communications Director Will King says attendance jumped by four-hundred more attendees than last year, which had the previous record number of guests.

King says 5,400 people came through the museum and enjoyed free admission, and large crowds ate a full pick-up bed of watermelons and stayed for the music and fireworks.

King says he thinks the celebration is something that people look forward to each year, and he’s looking forward to it being even bigger and better next year.

He thanks all of the partners that made it such a success.
