Recognizing Texas A&M Board Of Regents Member Phil Adams Of Bryan’s 18 Years Of Service

The only member of the Texas A&M system board of regents living in Aggieland is also the only one in his third term.

Phil Adams of Bryan was recognized during last Thursday’s regents meeting for completing 18 years on the board.

Adams, a member of the A&M class of 1971, was appointed by Governor Perry in 2001 and 2009 and by Governor Abbott in 2015.

Adams and system chancellor John Sharp attended Tuesday night’s Bryan city council meeting, where mayor Andrew Nelson presented them with a framed proclamation.
