Recent Arrests For Possession Of Illegal Vehicle Tags, Vehicle Burglary, Aggravated Assault With A Vehicle, & DWI With A Prior Conviction

A Brazos County deputy constable from precinct three pulled over a small truck on Highway 6 near the Navasota River last Wednesday afternoon for not having a front license plate or a registration sticker. The driver was arrested for possessing 11 temporary tags that were illegally obtained. That includes the tag that was on the truck that was pulled over. And a check of the truck’s V-I-N revealed it had four buyers tags. According to the arrest report, the deputy constable said three dealers associated with the tags are under investigation in Travis County for the internet sales of fraudulently created buyers temporary tags. The driver, 37 year old David Reyes-Enamorado of Houston, is out of jail after posting a $10,000 dollar bond.

The 31st time a College Station man is booked in the Brazos County jail, is on charges of vehicle burglary, threatening a College Station police officer, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. According to the CSPD arrest report, at least three people reported seeing a man lifting door handles to a vehicle parked south of the Texas A&M football practice field on Montclair. 29 year old Datarius McCoy is held in lieu of bonds totaling $12,000 dollars. It is McCoy’s fifth arrest since February. He is awaiting trial in three cases, on charges of DWI, criminal mischief, and misdemeanor marijuana possession.

A College Station woman is accused of striking a former boyfriend with her SUV outside a Bryan bingo business then driving away. The man who was struck last Friday afternoon was taken to a hospital for treatment for a swollen knee. 63 year old Fredie Williams is out of jail after posting a $12,000 dollar bond following her arrest for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

A College Station police officer witnesses a car run a red light last Friday night at Southwest Parkway and Texas. The driver of a smaller car that was struck on the passenger side and rolled several times was taken to a hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The driver that ran the red light told the officer according to the CSPD arrest report that he had drank a six pack of beer. 23 year old Nicholas Aguirre-Mendez of College Station is out of jail after posting bonds totaling $8,000 dollars following his arrest on charges of DWI with one prior conviction and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
