A Georgia man was booked in the Brazos County jail last Wednesday on an aggravated robbery charge that happened 13 months ago in the lobby of a Bryan motel.
According to the Bryan police arrest report, 22 year old Kenneth Butler is accused of going into a motel guest’s room and pointed a gun at the victim.
When the victim tried to leave, Butler struck the victim in the back of the head with the pistol and fired two shots during a struggle.
No one was hit by the gunfire.
Butler, who was released from a Georgia prison two months before the robbery, is held in lieu of a $40,000 dollar bond on the BPD charge.
