ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Texas Rangers scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to pull away from the Los Angeles Angels, 5-2.
Texas picked up the win despite Halos starter Reid Dettmers tossing an immaculate second inning, striking out three batters on nine pitches.
It marked the second time it’s happened to the Rangers (46-55) this year.
They’ll return home tonight to host Baltimore at 7:05 at Globe Life Field.
