A Brazos County man is headed to prison after a judge decides punishment following guilty pleas to a pair of DWI’s with three or more convictions.

Online court records show 42 year old Kyle Kologinczak, whose last address was between Kurten and Bryan, was sentenced to five years for DWI’s that took place in March 2023 and in February of 2022.

During the same punishment hearing on Tuesday (December 3rd), probation was revoked on guilty pleas for DWI’s from May and June of 2018. The judge set punishment in those cases at 180 days each.

The judge’s decisions can be appealed.

A spokeswoman in the district attorney’s office provided WTAW News the results of blood alcohol content (BAC) tests done in each of the cases.

The 2023 BAC was .194.
The 2022 BAC was .134.
The BAC from the arrest on June 14, 2018 was .203.
The BAC from the arrest on May 17, 2018 was .230.
