Public Request At Bryan Council Meeting Leads To Changing Length Of Traffic Signal Exiting Blinn Campus

Before the end of the spring semester on the Blinn College Bryan campus, two students who grew up in the twin cities appeared before the Bryan city council requesting relief from long traffic lines exiting the campus at 29th and Joseph.

One of the students, Wyatt Crowley, explained the dilemma facing motorists trying to turn from Joseph to 29th.

Public works director Jayson Barfknecht told WTAW News traffic staff plans to add more green time to the left turn out of Blinn and reduce the green time on 29th.

Dr. Barfknecht says this should allow more vehicles inside of Blinn to exit.
